i sink that Lily is a HE, but he is in the same situation as Yun (miss identified by machine)

or it's the author trying to create the cliche "cute-boy prince"

Lyly wasn't misidentified by a machine. He doesn't have the boobs and instead properly has the other thing.

To be precise, he's very young (like 12 to 14), younger than Yun and like kids often are, kind of androgynous.

First, he's a he, very cute, yes, but a he.
Second, his name isn't "Lily" but "Lyly", difference being in the pronunciation.

"Lyly" is pronounced like "Lie" as in "that's a lie", and then "Lee".

He's a he, but Lyly is pretty much pronounced the same as Lily, according to the katakana.

lol, she's going commando on us huh?

Anyways, from what I can tell, underwear is different from undergarments. Undergarments are what you're thinking of, while underwear is stuff you wear under stuff, like wearing a shirt under a jacket/sweater.

as long as she doesn't have 3-dimensional movement, no-one will know whether she is wearing them or not, it is entirely her choice to have such a hobby

just... didn't expect it to be her of all people to be going commando O.O

I know, their "underwear" is technically "innerwear" or "shirts".

        But I'm still laughing!

Lyly has Magic Talent 10 but no elemental magic. What did he level it with?

Emily has Sorcery, which means she leveled Magic Talent and Magic Power to 50, but also has no element sense. It appears as though her Connecting Sword is a Magical Talent required Weapon ....

I don't see any senses that look like they need MP for basic use, so it's probably Arts.

I think crafting might use some magic power. I'm pretty sure Alchemy needs it and I would not be surprised if crafting/enhancing a magical staff required a lot of magic.
Hum... Yep. I just took a quick look at volume 1, chapter 2. Using a recipe gave Yun a boost in [mixing] and [magic power]. So I guess that all crafting needs magic and that more magic is required to craft better items.

All skills, spells and arts (which includes crafting skills) require magic power to use. Of course you can craft manually without using magic power too, but if you want to create batch of potions...

My question is why Magic Talent leveled. Alchemy might be a Magic Talent, but Lyly doesn't have it.

          2. krytyk Post author

Possibly levels up when mana consuming skills are cast or smth.

      1. HunterX57

Mikadzuchi as a reference to looking like a man, if you can't picture it try watching Final Fantasy Advent Children (See Male Character: Reno in high def), or Rokka no Yuusha (Six Heroes or something...) for Male character: Adlet.

Both have the image of a man with similarities to how Mikadzuchi's character design appears.

To be honest, from the picture here I got the same male impression, although from the text-only novel viewpoint she certainly has plenty of feminine charm to her character.

Oh... and another error I just noticed. On mikad's sense explanation you have Magical stick is stick senses further derivition it etc. etc.
And then the next one is
Magical stick is one od stick senses derivition. adds corrections etcetc.

Thought it was strange and looked up raws. The second one is large stick and not magical stick.

    Many thanks.
After four volumes, I started comparing some of the builds.

    >Natural MP Recovery Increase
    >Magic Power Recovery
What's the difference between these two?

    >Swift Legs
    >Swiftness
What's the difference between these two?

    >Crafting Knowledge
What does this do? I've been curious for a while.

    >Dosing
Crafting Knowledge (in v2 ch3) was mentioned as having DEX correction. Dosing (in v2 ch4) was also mentioned as having some kind of correction. Is it also a DEX correction?

    Once again, thanks for translating.

Swift Legs changed into swiftness:)) The difference is the name. I changed it @tobi-chan's data sheet... but possibly left it somewhere.

MP Recovery vs natural recovery increase... no idea. I know they're separate. Probably the way they're used differs.

        Going off of actual MMO's...
MP recovery is probably either channeled (sit there and go Ohmmm) or only works out of combat.
Natural MP recovery would probably always be on/passive but for a lesser effect.

Both of which are annoying to use and/or balance.

Did some more digging. Magic Power Recovery was mentioned as part of Miu's sense build in the text of volume 1, but it disappeared in her Sense Build Data.

You're right, but it's not my mistake :). Just checked the source material. It is there in chapter 3, but it isn't there in sense build data.

        2. Zatrys

Hmm, my guess would be, Natural MP Recovery Increase is the normal unassisted recovery over time, where as MP Recovery Increase is the recovery done by items or what not such at MP Pots.

Based on what the other "knowledge" senses do, it probably adds a correction for manual crafting and an increased success rate and reduced MP cost to auto or menu crafting.

Swordsmans grants increased correction and damage for sword arts. Mages grants reduced chant time and mp cost reduction. Warriors gives bonuses similar to swords but for all weapon types (probably at lower bonus since it is more multiputpose). Critical gives higher damage for hitting critical points. Preemptive gives higher surprise attack bonuses.

There is probably a knowledge sense for each of the basic weapon types as well. Maybe other support type knowledges also.

Hmm, that's odd, from the description I read about [Collector's Eye] I would think it was a deviation of [Discovery], where it focuses more on finding materials, while [See-Through[ is more for combat, finding things that hides.

Wasn't Swiftness written as Swift Legs for Toutobi's Sense Build? I'm pretty sure these are supposed to be the same sense, but correct me if I'm wrong. I also want to see a Yun with that sense too.

My guess is that Earth Element Talent's derivation is either Magma Element Talent, or Wood Element Talent. While we're speculating here, Dark => Shadow or Night. Anyone have any ideas on Light Element's? Holy Element, maybe?

      1. Zatrys

Not if it's just my end, but Tobi-chan's Sense explanation on the sense build image has Swift Legs still, though the Sense list itself is fixed.

As to Yuki-san's post, I agree with your guesses for all elements, though I myself also thought of Metal for Earth, and Void for Darkness.....What do you think?

        1. Mage-kun

A little late to answer, but i think darkness will be Curse Element, since it's basically a debuff magic. And agree with metal for earth.

I always wonder why has no one max out their accessory limit of 10, maybe its a pain for the author to put all 10 accessories for everyone. Also, im glad to see there are level 50 derivation so we might finally see the hawk eyes upgrade. I didn't expect Emilio to have the party sense either seeing that she would be a more solo player?

Possibly both Party and Clan senses buff her created mobs, that's why she's using them.

Speaking of Accessories, how come Emily has about 2-3 but it's listed as one?

        They are:
        1. Mast of Pain Receiving (1)
        2. Fake Tag (1)
        3. Distorted Voice

Not sure if #3 counts, but the other two had a (1) on them, though I guess Fake Tag and Distorted Voice could be considered additions (Items that cause an effect) rather than equipment.

I imagined Clouds to be more sruffy with a 5 o'clock shadow, more like Kaji from Eva, because he pulls all nighters. I pictured Mikadzuchi with short hair.

Not sure how I connected the image, but for Cloude I kept imagining one of the minor thief characters from MAR. More dark skinned, shorter, pudgy, with dark circular sunglasses. Totally off the mark after going back and reading the descriptions of him. XD

        1. krytyk Post author

I might change it sometime, but for now I'll let it stay connecting. Normally I would call it Snake Sword, but in this case it doesn't have the whip or wire part on which the blades slide, they float and reconnect... the Japanese name nuance suggests it's "connecting" or "reconnecting" sword, a made of parts that connect.

Well.. several errors in the sense data.

Lyly Errors: Garment is lvl 21, Axe is lvl 22, and Trap Disarm should be lvl 10.

Emilio Error: Collector's Eyes are lvl 34

Mikadzuchi Errors: Large Stick is lvl 47, and Anger Resistance, lvl 3

On a side note, Cloude has CS no 1, Lyly CS no 2, Magi CS no 3, and Yun has CS no 6. Any idea who has CS no 4 and 5?
