Yes, a release. Just one chapter, although I was hesitating whether to release right away or do epilogue and afterword first. But oh well, this will make another release in a day or two so I guess it's fine.

Hey hello, been a while (two weeks?). I'm busy as usual so I'm not pumping out translations like a madman, sorry 'bout that. I'm sure better times will come one day, someday...
Anyway, one more chapter and epilogue until the volume is complete. That's when I move on to last volume of antimagic (aside from two Another Mission volumes)
And speaking of Another Mission... yes, you can see it on the right side. The new cover for the volume 2 of AMA's short story compilation, Kippu's art is so damn cute, as always. It will be coming out in two days, and it will be a definite end of the series. Well, I'll eventually get to translating those as well. There's no hurry since the series is ending.

Update: Another Mission 2 is out and it's GREAT. There's also an illustration of a character who hasn't gotten an illustration yet. A highly requested one.

Yes, I know some of you expected me to continue on with Antimagic first but... not yet. I will do it, but for now I'm gonna finish OSO volume to catch up.
So, a new fluffy chapter and a new fluffy character. It's a huge shame that her cat ears and tail aren't real, but I'm sure, I'm certain a day will come when we have real kemonomimi in OSO... No, I'm not spoiling, really, I swear.

So, I've been busy and still am busy, but I've been translating stuff in free moments - one, two hours a day. So yeah, the release schedule is shit, but progressing.
To start with OSO and the fluffy stuff - like always, lots of cute and fun. As usual humanity learns a lot by observing wild creatures... in this case it's a wild... well, a wild elfu.

The second and more important part of the post. Yeah. As you might have noticed since it's come back to the menu bar... Antimagic is back, yes. So, why is it back when I took it down over a half a year ago? Well, that's fairly simple considering I said I will be looking out towards what's happening and consider bringing it back in the future.
Situation has changed a lot since then. Anime was shit, the second manga serialization was axed... this time even earlier - at volume 2. There was no license announcement and it seems highly unlikely there will be one considering how other mediums from the franchise have fared. The novel's main story ends with the next volume that comes out in less than two weeks.
Considering all those points I've been slowly working on it for a while now (but you already know that, as if I hadn't made it obvious enough), but I decided to wait with real bringing it back to the blog until anime-expo ends (yen press licenses and stuff, y'know), and there was nothing.
It's a big shame the guy who ninja translated it wasn't a prince on white horse or a good fairy, huh? Well, you can always buy me a white horse and I'll play the prince, but I can't become a good fairy. I think I can't, that is.
In any case, antimagic is back. I will continue translating it, but I will take it down if it gets licensed or I get a direct dmca.
PS: Oh right, I've nearly forgotten. volume 13 isn't the end of antimagic releases. There's still Another Mission 2 volume coming out next month (thanks melody for dropping the tip).
PS2: All volumes received a slight re-edit (mostly automatic) removing furigana and moving stuff into glossary under chapters. Also British English was changed into American English (feedback welcome). I hope I didn't break too much since part of the process was automatic.

Helloes, been a while. As I wrote in comments and you might have realized, I'm pretty busy. As such releases schedule is gonna be slow. Still, despite that everything is moving forward so no worries!
Now, what to speak about... right, there's that website who grabs translations from all sites and uploads it to make monies out of it. I'm not gonna link to it or mention the name, but gonna just say this: I did not give them, or anyone else any permission to host my translations. That's about it. And better hope they don't annoy me out of translations.

Make sure to support the author and publisher by purchasing the books after you have read the translations. Do not support any 3rd party sites that steal somebody else's work without permission.
