Thanks for the chapter! I have a question though, are there any similar Original Novels that you might recommend? I've been through almost all of RoyalRoad, and unfortunately many of them lack either the depth or vision to compare with Daybreak. I'm most likely going to check out all the novels that are on the voting site too, because I have nothing to read =(

I've been reading mostly nonfiction in recent years, so can't help you there.

But I'd reckon content like this you'll have easier time finding in the published novels than among web novels (like the 1632/Ring of Fire series that I grew up on). Authors who write this kind of thing tend to be older and more knowledgeable/experienced.

I've actually grown out of it a little. The 1632 series is intensely US-biased and doesn't really do German culture justice, nor does it truly understand the mindset of the reformation (they swept religious issues under the rug one too many times).
Flint is great with politics though; his weakness is a coherent geopolitical/military strategy, which gets patched best when he works with Weber.

I agree. The only one I've read from that site is Worm too. If you like it, you may find it very addictive. And it's quite long and a complete work. (enough for a month of intensive reading at least)
Funny thing is I started reading it without even checking the description. Same with Daybreak. :)

Just when I was thinking, it would be nice to read some new Daybreak.
    Ah, bliss.

        Thanks ^^
The popularity contest itself doesn't matter much to me; but getting more publicity is always good~

Grabbing a large number of votes on TWF is a quick way to get attention on WFG, which makes it easier to get more reviews. Attention from TWF is all well and good, but I figure that it's recommendations on WFG that'll matter, in the end. Just don't act like the author from a certain Xianxia site and you'll generally be okay.
