For those who have waited for the edited version of AntiMagic volume 5, I've looked over the entire volume and it should have reached the quality I would call "the bare minimum acceptable". In other words, it's as good as it can get with me, someone who is not a native English speaker, editing my own translations a mere month after completing it.

Anyway, you're welcome to make PDFs EPUBs MOBIs and whatever else is there. I'll pick one version up and put it on the series page.

I am thinking about making a separate page with ebook formats, about linking to mediafire folder with those, a way to allow people choose from a number of versions (there's always more than one version of ebook out there, and I can't really choose 'the best one' as mostly have their pros and cons - size, formatting...), changing "about" section slightly, and a few other blog QoL stuffs. But that's all the song of the distant future.

Nope, again no new Fluffiness. Sorry. Today we're going to save mankind! And for once, I'm mostly serious.

About two months ago, I was linked a little Youtube video titled "Humans need no apply". Some of you may know it already, some may not. It's on the history and more importantly the future human (and horse) labor and employment. When I watched it for the first time, I was stunned out of my mind. Its contents are something that everybody in our generation should have seen, because it's it's coming and chances are, we'll have to deal with it. And so far I had no idea it was coming.

I don't actually want to start much of a political discussion here. Lightly discussing Justice and Fluffiness, Darkness and Dawn suits us just fine.

I don't actually want you to do much. For now, I doubt there's much that can be done.

I don't even want you to agree with the contents, or me. If anything, I hope you can convince me it's thorough and utter bullshit.

I just want you to know. I want people to know. So please, watch the video, take in what it says. Show your friends. Show your families. If you know some appropriate people, show your teachers or lecturers, maybe, colleagues or bosses if your relationships are right. Post it in your favorite forums, if it's not there already. And while hypocritical me doesn't use them: Put it on your twitters and facebooks.

This is "need-to-know", and not the kind where most people must not know.

Now, young padawans, in response to never-ending stream of questions~. Nothing will be released until next week, however if a release happens, it'll most likely be a multi-release. The huge rant.

Now, I welcome you all to the new blog.

Basically the idea about the new blog is, that I didn't want to continue posting stuff on baka-tsuki.org and having the releases labelled as 'baka-tsuki' releases.

Now, some of you will say that it's because I want to have my name on the releases... I do, but not for the reasons you might think of.

First, I've been really happy to translate stuff and post on baka-tsuki until now. It was a nice environment where I had a lot of freedom and could slowly but surely post my translations and administer them. I'm thankful to baka-tsuki for allowing me to do that.

However, recently the baka-tsuki community, and also some of its administration started changing. The unwritten and unregulated standards for quality, below which the translations hardly ever went except for a few individual cases, have shattered. Some members of the community and administration have been actively encouraging low quality translations done by amateurs with no knowledge of language and no dedication to researching. Not only they were allowed to post that subpar garbage, but they are also encouraged and some of the administration legitimized their actions.
