The Adventures of A Brave Female Archer and The Swordswoman.

OSO_v06_Cover...no, it's not a new novel. I just felt like being poetic. It's just OSO chapter 1!

Now, let's start with the link, which is not here, but elsewhere.

And next, tharael89 said he couldn't post a comment last night, actually I found the reason so I'll announce it publicly so that others know in case they want to try.

The answer is: spam protection. If you add too many links to a single comment the blog's spam protection (WP-SpamShield) considers it a spam. So maybe try putting less of them into one comment and splitting them into several comments next time.

...why am I writing this in comment? Obviously! To fill space so that this post doesn't feel lonely.

Also, yes, this chapter doesn't have an illustration. What a shame.

Fluff descends. Kirito descends (?!).

In other words, starting up with OSO. The Prologue is of considerable length, so I decided to make it a separate release.

It's a huge surprise and shock how easy translating this is when it comes to mental strain, there's practically none. Anyway, chapter link here.

So, the descent of mysterious ikemen god into the world of OSO who looks like a buffed-up and bad-ass Kirito from SAO. Aloha Zachou-sensei and yukisan-sensei really've done it now (lol).

PS: On the other hand, on the right, we have something much better than some buffed-up punk. Although, for full resolution you'll have to volume 6's illustration's page.

PS2: Forgot to put in the greyscale illustration into the chapter. Done now. Refresh if need.

Finally done. Yay. The torment is over.

EB_v01_CoverAnd so I finish volume 1 of Elvenblood. Honestly speaking, the book is good, great even. But I'm completely wasted, part of me doesn't want to touch the series ever again. Translating it was very difficult for me considering how the series is.

Anyway, first I'm gonna drop the links before I continue the rant. Interlude, Afterword, Full Text.

Now back to the rant. I don't know if I will continue Elvenblood, if I had to make the decision now I would abandon the series, drop it and never come back to it. It has lots of fans, and I am a fan as well, but right now I don't want to have anything to do with translating it. It chirps away too much life out of me to concentrate for hours, its scrapping away at my nerves and shortening my lifespan to the point where I consider breaking my "never drop a series" promise. I didn't know it will be like this when I first read through the book and started translating, so if it is dropped - my apologies.

Therefore, for the time being Elvenblood will be indefinitely stalled. Whether I come back to it - it's unknown. Possibly, maybe, or maybe when the time for it comes in the schedule I'll decide to drop it.  Who knows. I myself - don't know.

Although, I'm not writing this to discourage you from the series. It's a great series and I enjoy it a lot, it's just that... translating it takes too much out of me. Reading it and translating it are two different things, the major difference is the time spent inside and the depth you enter into the book's world. So there.

Next on the schedule is Only Sense Online volume 6, that should help me forget about Elvenblood for now, hopefully.

PS: A reminder, anyone who makes eBooks, whether it's ePUB, PDF, MOBI or whatever else, please post them in the File Gallery section's comments.

Despair. Long. Heavy. Dark. FEELS.

EB_v01_257This chapter has everything. From a totally insane, sicko-disgusting psychopath and utter darkness, through awe, to action, politics, feels and whatever else.

So to speak, a kind of masterpiece, or at least I think so. The darkness and despair in the novel is very difficult for me to take on, but despite that, this is an amazing novel and this chapter proves it, despite its own darkness.

Yup, it's as you see, I spend the entire day to translate this incredibly long, novel's longest chapter. You can find the link here.

You have read the most of the novel, so it's about time I start encouraging you guys and girls, men and women to purchase the book. It's only right to do so. The author needs to earn his monies so that he can continue, starting with author ending with the lowest minions at publishers and distributors, everyone has to be paid for the work they have done so that people can read this book, thus - purchase it. If you enjoyed it, or even if you didn't enjoy it yet read it. Purchase it. if not now, then in the future.

PS: The despair is only the first part.

PS2: Ellis is indisputably the best girl.

Elvenblood really doesn't hold back.

EB_v01_207So, a release. One more chapter left besides the relatively short epilogue and afterword. Just a little bit more until I can tap into light and forget about Elvenblood's existence for a while.

You can find the link to the chapter in here.

This time on the agenda... first, the ebooks. Since I lost any control of the ebooks creation, updates (the date when the ebooks were made and changes done meanwhile) and quality, I decided to make a new system and Bareus had volunteered to maintain it. All the ebooks will disappear from the series page and will be moved to a special page (fan art is in a child page of that one) you can already find on the bar (you could for a while now). It will list the ebook creator, date of creation and such. There will also be requirements for ebooks to serve as some standardization and quality check for them. I will encourage for the re-making of the epubs anew, while abiding the requirements.

Well, fresh versions would be really welcome, for example, did you notice that all furigana disappeared from Elysion Virtual Region? Things like that.

I will specially notify if a redo of some volume is required, for example like it is for Elysion now, but it would also be good to have fresh versions for everything that are up to date (no one kept track of it before, so some are definitely outdated).

Second, the subscriptions. I've been asked a few times already so I installed e-mail subscriptions. It sends an email once a day on set hour if there is an update. So, don't expect immediate notification.

You can sign up to it below, or on the About page.
