OSO_v09_123So, I've been busy and still am busy, but I've been translating stuff in free moments - one, two hours a day. So yeah, the release schedule is shit, but progressing.

To start with OSO and the fluffy stuff - like always, lots of cute and fun. As usual humanity learns a lot by observing wild creatures... in this case it's a wild... well, a wild elfu.

The second and more important part of the post. Yeah. As you might have noticed since it's come back to the menu bar... Antimagic is back, yes. So, why is it back when I took it down over a half a year ago? Well, that's fairly simple considering I said I will be looking out towards what's happening and consider bringing it back in the future.

Situation has changed a lot since then. Anime was shit, the second manga serialization was axed... this time even earlier - at volume 2. There was no license announcement and it seems highly unlikely there will be one considering how other mediums from the franchise have fared. The novel's main story ends with the next volume that comes out in less than two weeks.

Considering all those points I've been slowly working on it for a while now (but you already know that, as if I hadn't made it obvious enough), but I decided to wait with real bringing it back to the blog until anime-expo ends (yen press licenses and stuff, y'know), and there was nothing.

It's a big shame the guy who ninja translated it wasn't a prince on white horse or a good fairy, huh? Well, you can always buy me a white horse and I'll play the prince, but I can't become a good fairy. I think I can't, that is.

In any case, antimagic is back. I will continue translating it, but I will take it down if it gets licensed or I get a direct dmca.

PS: Oh right, I've nearly forgotten. volume 13 isn't the end of antimagic releases. There's still Another Mission 2 volume coming out next month (thanks melody for dropping the tip).

PS2: All volumes received a slight re-edit (mostly automatic) removing furigana and moving stuff into glossary under chapters. Also British English was changed into American English (feedback welcome). I hope I didn't break too much since part of the process was automatic.

Daybreak Diary #4: On Chapter Release Time

The belated update to Daybreak is here. I do apologize for the delay -- mostly caused because I started the chapter late, as I was too busy roleplaying a giant, spacefaring mushroom on a bid to unite the universe... no seriously.

The good news is, I've already started the next chapter to make up for the delay. With any luck, it'll be out much faster this time -- hopefully around two weeks.

Also, since marksy.arc90 seems to be dead, I'm currently looking for another easy-to-use WikiCode to HTML converter to use for Daybreak. Yet to find a satisfactory one so recommendations welcomed.

OSO_v09_075Helloes, been a while. As I wrote in comments and you might have realized, I'm pretty busy. As such releases schedule is gonna be slow. Still, despite that everything is moving forward so no worries!

Now, what to speak about... right, there's that website who grabs translations from all sites and uploads it to make monies out of it. I'm not gonna link to it or mention the name, but gonna just say this: I did not give them, or anyone else any permission to host my translations. That's about it. And better hope they don't annoy me out of translations.

Now to the chapter link. Also, I updated the illustrations page for volume 9.

Make sure to support the author and publisher by purchasing the books after you have read the translations. Do not support any 3rd party sites that steal somebody else's work without permission.

Winter Debut

Antimagic Academy's volume 13 (last volume) comes out on 20th of July. That is in less than two months, I really look forward to seeing how it ends - although I more or less have my predictions.

Now, back to OSO stuffs. To start with, a new colouring. It didn't take me much time and was kind of a hurried job, this time I used fairly bland colours as opposed to the usual vividness I make (the image just asked for it). I still think it came out well. Considering this volume is full of amazingly cute illustrations, possibly, most likely more colouring will come.

Yeah, OSO vol 9 is out. Came out roughly half a day ago (11 hours ago?), in any case - it's cute.

Right, so... surprisingly after the break since I last released something, I didn't find anything to write about. So I'm going to move on to the prologue's link immediately.

Lastly: Please support the author and publisher by purchasing the books in Japanese, or in English when they appear. Don't slack and don't leech, give back what you take.

That's about it. And yes, the new clothes everyone gets are cute.

PS: Chapter 1 might not come out so soon, I have something else to do first.

PS: I was a little tired so this one might have more mistakes than usual - until Bareus looks over it.
